Dynamics Mobile for iOS 2.7.32: Scanning, Sync and Printing Updates

The Dynamics Mobile app for iOS has been updated to version 2.7.32. This release makes scanning and printing more dependable, keeps synchronization moving, and fixes several issues that could hold captured data on the device or return users to the wrong screen.

What's New in 2.7.32

  • Better barcode scanning — barcode scanning now handles a wider range of codes and conditions, so item, pallet and location lookups succeed on the first attempt more often.

  • More reliable app communication — commands exchanged between the app and the content it runs are processed more reliably, so actions that depend on them complete as expected.

  • Improved BIXOLON printing — printing to BIXOLON printers is more dependable across labels and receipts.

  • Updated built-in system app — the bundled system app includes the latest enhancements.

Improvements

  • Faster, steadier synchronization — data exchange with your Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment is quicker and more resilient, including on weak mobile connections.

  • Better file handling and document access — attachments and documents open faster and more predictably in the field.

  • Refreshed underlying components — app libraries are updated for stability and long-term support, with no changes to how you work.

Bug Fixes

  • Pending data uploads automatically — fixed an issue where captured data stayed on the device until someone ran a manual synchronization. Queued work now uploads on its own.

  • Synchronization on iOS 27 — resolved synchronization errors reported on devices running iOS 27.

  • Returns to the last active screen — fixed an issue where the app reopened on a different screen instead of the last one in use, so part-finished visits, deliveries and counts resume where they stopped.

  • Safer app context saving — fixed an issue with saving the app context that could lead to data loss.

  • General stability and performance — additional fixes across the app.

Why It Matters

Field, route and warehouse work happens where the network is weakest and the schedule is tightest. Automatic upload of pending data means a captured order or stock count no longer waits for someone to notice it and trigger a manual sync. Reliable synchronization keeps records moving to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Finance & Operations while the visit is still fresh. Returning to the last active screen and safer context saving protect step-heavy flows — a route stop, a delivery or a stock count — from losing progress when the app is interrupted. Better scanning and printing keep the physical world and the record in step, from shelf to label.
